Pet insurance is a fickle thing. You can’t just tell people to straight-up BUY NOW, as they don’t know what it is. Every piece of communication has to educate and sell at the same time. Not the easiest needle to thread. But thread, my team did.
With a hard-hitting headline that made our legal team squirm like a dog on the vet table, we put the industry on notice. Tight, hard-hitting subhead and bullets gave everyone a good idea of what pet insurance really does for them, and the rest of the page filled in the blanks. And if users still weren’t sure, our testimonials at the bottom punctuated our reasons to believe. A mic drop, if you will.
This page not only provided a ~10% sales lift from our old homepage, it had our competitors taking notes and following suit. I’m looking at you, Pumpkin Pet Insurance.
