GOODBYE, PHONE BILL “IOU”s

AT&T SplitPay let anyone pay their portion of their bill with a link—boom, done. It works even for non-customers. Once the bill-owner adds their number to SplitPay, they’d get a text, and they could pay up. No creating accounts, and you could even save your payment method for next time. Boom, done indeed.

This work built off the content systems I created for Billing and Payments. Most importantly, the content made non-customers feel just as secure on ATT’s payment platform as any subscriber. Experiences like this only work for non-customers if they feel really real.

Since February 2025 launch:

  • 100,000+ enrollments, ~400 new sign-ups every day

  • 160,000+ payments totaling over $13 million

  • Over 464,000 fewer calls to customer care

  • 37,993 line level payers have securely stored payment methods
